Super busy here, two marinas are moving due to dropping lake level. I've got something like 40 hoists to move before Feb. 1st. One a day is about the average depending on the particular situation. So probably 20 people will be very angry with me at the end of the month. Both the National Park Service and the marinas would have known this would be necessary 6 months ago, but they only told the public a week & a half ago. I've got a cold & I worked 60+ hrs, so I'm taking today off & getting the car's rear end (new gearing & limited slip) set up. I decided to have the block checked out & machined (decked & bored) & the roating assembly balanced. I'll put this one together myself to save bread & learn something. My digital camera is fucked though, maybe I can borrow the folks when I start assembly. Dad bought a dune buggy after a year of me searching out deals for him. It was up in Washington, my cousin was up there for Christmas & New Years. Cousin bought himself a trailer, a truck, and a dune buggy (all to sell) & drove the whole mess back home. Need a truck (88 dodge 4x4 with the cummins turbo diesel & manual 5 spd), trailer or cool fiberglass dune buggy? We've got another trip to Glamis planned in February. It's cold as shit here in the desert. The forecasted snow didn't materialize yesrerday though.
