Actually, I'm thinking about a couple of these:

Pricey, but they'd do everything I need them to do...

BTW, that 'possum poster is high art!

Yeah, we don't get HD anything, alas.

Hey, dig it!

First track day (aside from the spencer school) was FUN!! I'm not real social by my nature, but I ended up meeting some great friendly folks and just having a top notch time. I was a little worried about the Honda since I only drove it a few miles to check it out when I bought it and another putt around the block after I...

And here I was so proud because I've gotten the chicken strips on my new Metzeler down to about an inch...

You know what the male equivalent to "Crazy Cat Lady" is?

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
It's "Creepy Record Guy"
Like Steve Buscemi in Ghost world and well, me.
I got some new shelves for an awesome deal. Here's the old ones, they were those wire shelves you'd find in a restaruant freezer, only I had to cut a bunch of MDF for the shelves, sides...

Simplify it, don't worry about "real" names vs. noms de plume. Booker T under "B", Howlin' Wolf under "H", Collins Kids under "C", Frank Zappa under "F", The Mummies under "M", Blind Lemon Jefferson under "B", etc.

I've just now gotten internet back after a couple days without. Huge storm came through and fucked with the satellite dish for the modem, apparently the LNB was full of water, but has had time to dry out. Good thing, too, as the first time a tech could come look at it would be a week from now and would cost $125!!

Ah another borderline OCD case.

Columbus is just generally a nicer city than Cleveland, i personally like the city better. That and a lot of friends. that and i am not in Cleveland. that's what makes it best, there is just a lot of drama up here that i don't like.

The head is doing better than last entry, and the improvement is very welcome. Saw the doc, switched up some medication, etc... Track day coming up on march 22, hurray! Right now work seems set to go from "what tasks can I give the guys that are at least a little productive so they can have a paycheck" (and how can I pay my own...

Sank like a stone.

Vanished without a trace.

I hate to whine, but am I really that ineffectual?

My head has been giving me problems for a while. I hate to complain, because I really have nothing I should be complaining about, but from my skewed perspective it seems like everything is wrong in my life. I think some degree is to do with stopping taking some medication - lexapro, an ssri for depression/anxiety. I'm taking it again & it seemed to help...

Wellbutrin has certainly helped me! It was a little rough getting used to at first, but it's had a cumulative effect I believe. I still get that sense of impending doom once in a while, but it's not overwhelming like it was.

As usual, my advice to you is to go for a nice long ride (weather permitting).

OR

Spend some time with your guitar.

AND

Pursue some lively young lady. You might want to study Mark's style, he's about our age and has had some decent results...

Seriously: next time you're going to be in my backward neck of the woods, let me know in advance!

Spring is coming! Spring is coming!

Klonopin is not really something you have to worry about.
I suppose it's potentially abusable, but if you need it it CERTAINLY does NOT get you high.
It puts you to sleep quickly the first couple of days or weeks you take it, but to continue that effect you'd have to take more and more, which is where the abuse could come in.
I take it before bed time, and in fact if I have an especially bad day I can just take more which doesn't do anything except make the panic die down.
I don't feel like I'm taking ANYTHING - either the Klonopin or the Celexa.
No side effects.
That's why I continue to take that combo - no side effects and 98% of my symptoms gone.

Alright, enough whining from me. If it all goes to shit and I end up living on the streets at least I'll be able to get some reading done. And the climate is great here!
I rode the street RZ around all weekend, it has no gauges at all right now, and due to non-functional powervalves the power band is very touchy and severe. I...

Things seem to be going from bad to worse. I got a call from the company who's boat lifts I sell, the gist of which was that one of the marinas we work at called with some serious complaints and expressed that they were considering not allowing us to put lifts in any longer. I've had a 20 year relationship with this marina, the current...

UTMC? Oh, well, I hate to admit it, but I think I used up the forum...

Saw that stinky piece of shit chopper. NASCAR, rednecks, non-functional motorcycles... a short list of things I hate.

Not feeling very good. I've got a mild flu, I've got $25,000 in receivables out and all I'm receiving are excuses. So now I'm past due paying my own bills mad. Two are guys who assured me they'd pay on the spot as soon as the jobs were finished if I could kindly forgo my normal 1/2 down deposit. Both jobs have been complete for...

Its funny ( in a not so funny way) how shitty folks have become over money in the last 5 -6 years. I'm a contractor, so OF COURSE I'm lining my pockets and making big fat boat payments with all the dough these pikers don't pay me anyway. Really gets me down sometimes. Then I remember how great my son and his half sister are and the world is immediately so much finer. I seriously don't know how postal I might have gone I don't know how many times if not for them.

Sounds like you guys run a great operation and you are experiencing the results of my dear departed Dads' favorite line, "No good deed goes unpunished". Keep the faith. Folks won't get any nicer but it won't matter when your'e busy as hell and crying all the way to the bank. Whenever you actually get paid, that is.

This weekend was gorgeous here, and I'm sick. Flu I guess, oh well.

Once when I was 14 and visiting relatives in Detroit I talked my Uncle (2nd cousin actually, but I just call him uncle) into taking me to a few record stores in Ann Arbor. -He was a professor at the University there & also was doing a weekly do-wop & soul radio...

Haha, yeah, I used a scroll saw and a bunch of different files, orbital sander and nylon rotary brush on the drill press.

Yes, it took forever.

Yes, I went through like half a dozen blades.

No, it's not quite as pretty and nice as I'd like to to be.

Well, I was feeling better, and because of this I worked in the shop too long last night and now I'm hurtin' for certain. Bleh.

After I did this, I rewired a silverface Fender Champ amp to be more like a tweed Champ. Here's the before, I didn't get an after yet...
