Hell Yeah! Thats what i'm talking about! Just thinking about climbing around those ancient rocks, standing there tomorrow morning drinking a cup of instant coffee i cooked over an open fire, watching the Sun come up after an evening spent starring in wide wonder at all that foreverness full of stars...... man, i can't wait! I just can't wait to smell those mountains, to hear absolutely nothing but silence for hours on end..... hmmm. Wow, ain't life grandest when it's grand!
Crazy thing about those rocks up there is that their actually the hearts of seriously ancient mountains. Over the eons the mountains eroded away, and what you see up there now is all thats left. I prefer spending the night thinking about that, rather than wheres the bartender at with my next Gin n' Tonic.
And your right, we are seriously cooler than that!
I'm not that far. I can get in my car and be back out of it standing in the park in less than an hour. Yeah, theres only one Starbucks up in that area. I believe it's in Yucca Valley if i'm not mistaken? Man, i love the Stardybucks too ya know! But i agree, theres too many of em. But, supply and demand ya know.
That'd be hella cool if'n ya moves to 29-Palms and all, let me know when you come down to scout things out before the move.
Hey, did you notice all the little abandoned houses along the way up there. I took some hella cool pics of them years ago. I'll have to dig those up as well.
