My right eye has been infected for the past few days.
Who am I kidding; it's been infected since pretty much my birthday, forcing me to wear only my left contact lens. My glasses, long gone since sometime last month, were too much of a hassle to really use anyway; I called around attempting to get new ones, only to discover that the quickest I'd be able to get them was two weeks.
Because, you know, people who have REALLY, REALLY FUCKING BAD EYESIGHT CAN WAIT TWO FUCKING WEEKS TO GET GLASSES.
While I try to figure that mystery out, I sit in Backspace, eye throbbing, too lazy to go to the doctor and too apprehensive to buy antibiotics, glasses ordered and on the way.
I really hate looking at the world through one eye. I had to deal with it once before (when I got pinkeye sophomore year of college) and everything I shouldn't have been doing (driving, operating heavy machinery, walking) I had to do. I fortunately don't really drive these days (especially since my possible automobile purchase fell through. dammit.), but my head just throbs after too long.
