Getaway

Man, time has been going by so very, very fast lately. I can't believe it is already Friday and that my vacation is coming up tomorrow. Soooooo looking forward to getting away from a few days, but I'm no where close to being ready. I have laundry to do, batteries to charge, things to gather, and a house to clean And of course I slept in today...So much to do and so very little time to do it in.

We'll be headed up to Vegas, then to the Valley of Fire, down to Lake Havasu, and then coming home Wednesday through Palm Springs. I've come to realize that I have grown immune to the glimmer and glitz of Vegas. I mean...I don't even get excited anymore when we go lol. Fortunately, this means that I won't be wasting my bank account away when I turn 21...Already decided that I'm going to play one dollar, lose it, and then head back to the arcades and waste like $100 there lol...

My Transformation into a Geek is Complete!

Not only am I a geek at heart, I now look the part!



On a completely random note, that photo makes me want to cut my hair again...Sadly I won't be shaving my head anytime soon as my mom recently informed me that if I did, I'd have to find a new place to live lol...Oh well, I'll just buzz it real short next time

New Job

And I'm not excited about it in the least. My parents were very blunt about the subject yesterday...Either I find a job, or I play the part of a maid. I choose to be a maid, for the simple fact that with my health, I couldn't hold down a job even if I wanted to. So, now I'm stuck cleaning house every day

New Goals

Lose at least ten pounds
Get out of the house more
Make new friends
Have better relationships with my current friends
Go back to SDSU
Change my major

Out of those, getting back into State is the one I want the most. This is the best my health has been in over three years. If it continues this way, there shouldn't be any reason why I shouldn't be able to go back. Of course, I'd have to be completely sure that my health would hold up...All in all it costs somewhere around $2200 per semester for me to go to State

I have no clue what I want to do with my life...I really need to figure that out as well. I know I don't want to do electrical engineering anymore. I really want to do something in liberal arts, but I'm not sure what, and I don't know what sort of jobs are out there (Or more specifically, if making a decent living is an attainable goal). I'm also thinking about physics...It was one of my favorite and easiest classes in high school...Might be worth a try since I enjoyed it.

Looks like I have some work and research to do in the next handful of months...

Gaming Arena

So CAL delayed announcing the playoff brackets...Should have guessed that would have happened. They plan to announce the brackets this week, so I won't know if we are in or out until I get back home from vacation. Our TWL playoff match was ridiculously easy...We only gave up three rounds. Unless we reschedule the match, it doesn't look like I'm going to be playing this week...Oh well, they'll probably get some A team member to take my spot lol...

There's a LAN coming up in June in San Jose...Not sure if I'm gonna go...Depends on whether or not people from my team are going...Wish there were more SoCal LANs
