Stuck in the nothing.
Is it possible that if what is meant for you enters your world and you deny it, push it away, refuse to accept it, in fear, and it leaves your world then you have lost your chance forever? Do we only get one chance? What if you could not see it clearly? What if you were not given the proper eyes to recognize it? Are you still to blame? What if you begged for nothing more than the clarity to see it? You didn't ask for it to be handed to you without earning it, you just asked to be able to recognize it when it was before you. Then what? It's gone. What is your next step? Are we defined by loss? Is the only time you feel what may be considered love come in the midst of loss? Is this our only source of measure? Should you just accept it for the way things are? If prayers go unanswered, pleas go unheard, options exhausted, and hope diminished what is your next step? How long should one wait with the hope of answers or change? Days, months, years? "It is what it is, good luck and move on" doesn't set my mind at ease
