It was me, Dolfer, Sparky, Joser, and Gibbs driving up to San Jose in the Safari. The plan was to drop Dolfer off with this girl he hooked up with the night before and go cruise around while he got busy. After dropping him off at Santa Clara University, we decided to call Miss S because she knew the area better than we did. After all, we were just a bunch of guys from Hollister. Some how the idea of skinny dipping came up and we all decided to go with Miss S and her friend (who I can't for the life of me remember her name so we'll call her Pool Girl because she had the key to the pool) Pool Girl to Pool Girl's house because there was a community swimming pool that this adventure could take place. Arriving at our destination, we examined the pool. It was perfect! Low light+high fences = naked swimming fun. We sat around talking about this and that but eventually we all decided it was time for a swim. I take my shoes off, take my pants and shirt off while running to the pool. In mid-fucking air I take my socks and tighty whities off and fling them to the land my feet just energetically departed from. I'm splishing and splashing like there is no tomorrow... until I realize that I am the only person in the pool. I am the only person who is naked. It appeared that I was the only person brave/foolish enough to get naked. I am sure there is a lesson in there somewhere. Thank god for clean undies.

Sometimes life is like that. You're the only one in the pool, enjoying the innocent, naked, swimfest. Far too often I have found that I am the only person in the pool, digging what's going on. It's how you deal with the fact that not everyone can do the things you do or they're just not into the same idea as you. Or they're just not into you. Period. It's how you get out of that pool that makes a difference in your life.
