Well, everything is moved out of the San Diego apartment. My back has mostly survived. It was actually doing very well until I moved furniture around my house on Sunday. The bummer is, I am still 'staying' at the SD apartment until Thursday. Luckily, my roommate here still has furniture... i've been sleeping on his sofa since I returned. I really should inflate the Coleman mattress he has to try and spare my back further. Gonna need it this comming weekend.

My boss seemed rather concerned the other day when I told him I didn't know where I'd be living next week. I'm sure he's concerned I might bail at any moment. He's right to think that. I might. If they can't work out the new arrangement, I will just go.

I finally broke down and hired a landscape designer to work on my yard. It's already out of budget, but I know that I would not get to it for some time, and it is really becomming a sore point for me. All because of those stupid palm trees clogging my drains with their roots.... <sigh>

It's really not terrible... and on the upside, I get to goto the Desert Botanical Garden on Friday morning and pick out some plants. The garden had bi-annual sales where you can score cheap plants.
