What a rip off! A half pint of lemonade in Jilly's Rockworld is 1.40! And what did I do when I got it...spill it all over my legs!
Last night was a bit odd - some girly mates who I hadn't seen for ages said they were going out last week so I was all up for going, then they couldn't go coz of money. So, I went out on my own. Luckily there were a bunch of people I knew well at high school, it was fun catching up with them and realising they're not getting any less silly! I surprisingly ended up staying til 7am too.
There were a few drug and drink casualties around - this man looked about 40 or so passed out on the stage for about an hour with a can of strongbow in his hand. Sad really.
Although I've been going to jilly's for years I really think we need a change. There's rumours of it closing and I hope someone makes a new, better, fresher rock club.
Grr, and some fool right in front of me said 'i dont like the look of her, i don't like innocents, i hate the librarian look!'
It's funny when people think I'm innocent...but...grr, patronising.
