I watched The Cell last night, and a quote in it got me thinking. She said something about everyone having a part of their mind that they don't show to anyone - but I don't think I hide anything from the people closest to me. I think to them I have expressed all of me over time - my emotions of grief, bliss, anger and love... my interests in metal but also drum and bass... my confused sexual attractions... my quiet shyness and anxieties yet also times I've felt liberated...
I don't see any need to be fake.

I think we all hide some part of ourselves from some people... you never show your whole self to everyone I think as your interactions with them actually help grow and build different parts of you! If you grew up in a bubble you'd be a different person. Me I love interacting with people and letting that change me...
Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but always keeping it interesting.
