First up, new pics of the completion of my leg tattoo, which I had done a few days ago. The Elf writing was already there, but it left a gap on the inside of my calf which I never liked; so for some time I've been tweaking with ideas to fill it in. Eventually we settled on this abstract graphic of a girl, with bird silhouettes flying above the writing and coming to rest on her hand.
From the front.
Viewed from the outside.
From the back.
And from the inner side.
I also had my nipple re-pierced a week ago. I had this done years ago and it lived happily for a long time, but all of a sudden got irritated for reasons unknown, and I couldn't save it from growing out. I was very upset about this at the time because, apart from the fact that I really liked it, that piercing was THEE most painful one I've had yet. I was put off having it done again because I'd read that rejection on a body part usually leads to re-rejection if it's done again, and I didn't want to do that pain for nothing.
However, I had a conversation with one of the piercers at Totally Pierced in Sydney, who was of the opinion that it should survive; especially if he could place it behind the original scar. I badly missed my pierced nipple so I was talked into giving it another go. It's the first piercing for a while which I've been scared of, because of the pain level last time. So, this time I used Emla. And, the silly thing didn't hurt any worse than a navel or an eyebrow. Yay for Emla And it looks brilliant, I'm so happy I've got it back. Now to cross fingers and pray it stays there.
One of the things that has kept me away from my computer has been a new training regime I've been on. I made a decision earlier in the year to compete as a body sculpter and the workouts I've been doing have been pretty intense - a couple of hours most days. It's been paying off though, I'm seeing some really good results. I'm not photoworthy yet because for the last few weeks I've been on a bulking phase, aiming to put on muscle. That's been going great (and so much fun!) but I haven't started stripping fat off yet, so I just look rather puffy hahahaha. In about two weeks I'm starting the stripping phase. That is going to be no fun at all, but if I can pull it off, I should get some great results.
how's training going?
