So I am just a little more than half way through this adventure, and I have definitely covered a few miles. I spent a little over a week in Greece, the first twodays in Athens, then off to the islands... Santorini and Crete. Both were rather incredible. From Greece we took the long haul back to central Europe via 3 ferries and an overnight train, finally arriving in Vienna Austria. After a few days taking in the endless amount of sights and museums, it was off to Prague, which was a beautiful evil little city, and then I accidently spent 2 days in Berlin. Here's the thing, i wasn't very interested in visiting Berlin because it's supposedly the hot art scene right now and i personally hate that type of slick bullshit, but much to my not that much dismay i spent 2 days there because the train i wanted to sweden was booked.
So now I am in the arctic circle, in a little town in Norway called Narvik. I'll probably stay here a few days in my attempt to see the Northern Lights.
I've been having a blast, but its all a bit dream like too.. I'm all by myself for this leg of the trip and its really rather relaxing to be alone. At first I was worried but now I'm thoroughly enjoying my solitude.
Unfortunately any photographs I take are film, so I have to wait until I get back to Philadelphia to post any. Check BACK!
