I'm okay with a snow storm and get outdoors and enjoy or deal with it. Ice storms are different many are still with out power in the state of Kentucky. Happy to have my power back on I lost early on Monday morning. Using my fireplace to keep the house warm and lucky to have my power back on Monday evening.
Ice storms depending on the size of the ice accumulate can cause major damage to trees. I will be spending months cleaning up the downed trees, tree tops and tree limbs on my farm Timberlakefarms and my parents yard.
Living in rural America I stop and take photos for my Electric Company and give them the nearest address. When I'm out and run across a problem I see with the electric lines. The appreciate the help with ice storms.
I spent almost 3 hours getting my newer trucks frozen doors open.
