When I bought my central Kentucky farm it came with a old growth forest. Anyway I have over 200 thousand dollars in marketable timber. My forest or woods is so pretty with some really big white oak, red oak, popular and walnut trees. It's like I have my own national forest. Anyway I said I would never harvest any of these trees unless it's a emergency. It's a emergency for sure and I need some money. We had a drought in Kentucky and we didn't have any rain for over 30 days in June. And it hasn't rained in Kentucky for another 30 days in late September and early October. Long story short I'm a self employed full-time farmer. And I didn't have any sweet corn to sale in July and August. I had to pick my pumpkin patch early because the vines died so I don't have any pumpkin's to sale in October. I only got one cutting of hay and my hayfield's turned brown and stopped growing. My soybeans are dying and I depend on the following crops Sweet Corn, Hay, Pumpkin's and Soybeans to have money in my farm account.
It's been the worst year to be a farmer in the Midwest and Southeast. Thank God I have my pension or retirement check that goes in my bank account every month. I'm also a disabled veteran and i recently applied for Social Security Disability Insurance and won my case first time around and I draw the full amount and that check goes in my bank account every month. So all my bills are paid on time every month. I basically farm for extra money for vacations and what ever the fuck I want to do or might want to buy.
I was able to take a vacation in 2022 and I bought a new truck from the original owner super clean with low mileage. Otherwise I'm home doing absolutely nothing because I don't have any money in my farm account. I haven't had any money in my SG account since May and I haven't tipped any models since May 2022. I don't have any Onlyfans accounts because I'm broke. And this makes me sad because I've always supported the girls I follow by tipping sets and live streams. I didn't make any money farming in 2022 because of global warming and drought. I've been successful every year prior to 2022 doing what I love farming and I'm not going to let one year discourage me from being a farmer. I plan on trying it again next year because I'm a 6th generation farmer. Even being broke I still wake up happy every morning. Like I was saying all my bills are paid every month. I just don't have any running around money to do the things I enjoy. And Im dating someone new with no money Cheyenne. I told her the truth back in early June when I met her. It's going to be a bad year trying to farm with the drought and no rain. I might have to take you on some farm truck picnic dates. She said that sounds perfect a farm truck picnic date on Timberlakefarms. She said I'm not interested in you because of money. I'm interested in you because your a good man with a good reputation.
Anyway I've been tagging tree's and the loggers will be here next week. And I'm not stripping my forest I'm picking out prime walnut trees for the American Gun Companies Henry Lever Action Rifles and Winchester Gun Company. They use American Walnut on all there gun stocks. And I'm picking out prime white oak trees for the Kentucky Bourbon Distilleries. All Kentucky Bourbon Distilleries use white oak barrels to age there bourbon. I'm harvesting a 100 thousand dollars in timber and paying off all my bank loans. And I can really start living life next month with everything paid off at the bank. And being a environmentlist concerd about global warming. I plan on planting three tree's for everyone I harvest.
I've learned a valuable lesson being broke. You can still be somewhat happy. And you can date, if you meet the right person. And you can make others happy with out money. Just by supporting them with encouragement and loving words and respect.
