Well, I've tried multiple times at having a blog (not on SG, just a random blogger one...), and every time I've failed miserably. But, we'll see what happens here.
So I literally just joined SG (tonight) because I'm tired of the direction my life is going right now. About 3 months ago my girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me, and with her went most of our "mutual" friends. So, now I'm kinda lonely and bored, and I really want to meet some new people to hang out with. And, given the opportunity, I'd like to meet some people with the same or similar interest to me (hence the account here).
So, about me:
I'm Kevin, I'm in my first senior year at The Ohio State University studying Computer Engineering (which I absolutely love). I'm trying to decide if I should go get a masters when I graduate next spring, or if I should just get a job. It will probably come down to whether or not I get a job offer that I like (because making money >> spending more money to make slightly more money in the future).
Outside of school I love music. I grew up on a steady diet of classic rock (Led Zep in particular), and that's had an enormous influence on my taste in music. It's progressed into some more modern rock, but I still love the classics. I listen to just about everything from radio-friendly rock to metal so ridiculous I'm almost embarrassed to tell people. I'm currently teaching myself to play guitar as well (though I'm terrible...).
I *really* like tattoos and piercings. I just currently don't have the funds for any more tattoos, which is extremely disappointing. To bide the time I'm trying to come up with some design ideas for the sleeves that I know that I want at some point. I haven't decided if I'll go both arms, or an arm and a leg... I kind of like the idea of having a full sleeve on my left arm and a half on my left leg (knee to ankle). But we'll see what happens when I actually get some money...
I'd really like to be able to use this to meet some new people in and around Columbus. I'm sure that there are a ton of alt friendly people and places in this city, I just haven't been able to find them, and I'm not exactly sure where to look.

I am never cutting it again.
I might let mine grow way out. It'll be tough though, because I'm graduating from college in a year and I'll likely be interviewing for a job all next winter... We'll see what happens though.
