My family irritates me so much, but I love them more than anything.

I went for lunch with my aunt today and I found myself in some of the most uncomfortable situations ever.

It’s weird how I feel I need to put my guard up around the people who should be the closest to me.

Never talk to family about your ‘love life’, even if they ask.

Babies change everything, that’s why today was so weird.
All she talks about now is her baby. Baby clothes, baby food…Oh the baby did this, the baby did that. I am so tired, I was up all night with the baby, blah, baby, blah, blah, baby.

That probably made me sound like an emotionless, insensitive person. Don’t get me wrong, I love babies, I love my cousin, I love my aunt, but just because YOU changed, don’t lecture me about how I did, because I really don’t think I have.

I think I have been this exact way, for the most part, all my life.
If you find me changing, please bring it to my attention.

Ugggh.
