I just had a very unfulfilling evening. Not only was I reminded very forcefully why one of my best friends always "ends up with the girl", but I was also accosted on several accounts for reasons that pale in comparison to things that actually happened.
This is why I don't like to leave my apartment. When I do, and I enjoy it, bad things happen. When I leave my apartment, I think I prefer when nothing of interest happens. At least in that scenario, I don't end up typing some whiny journal posting about romance and late-night drama.
Perhaps I'll be a bit more selective in the future when it comes to outings. At least in that case, I won't have reason to complain, because, frankly, there will be nothing to complain about. For anyone.
I don't quite understand the scope of a lot of things that are happening lately, but I do understand that I'm screwing up a lot. I'm being careless. This is never good. In fact, some might even call it dreadful. There's quite a list of things to fix.
