AC on Sunday - in a 1 - 2 cash game, I'm holding 7-8 suited. No action before me, I raise 3x the big blind pre-flop in late position. One caller, one minimum re-raise, I call, it's just me and the re-raiser.
Flop comes out A-10-9 (the 10 suit matches my hole cards.) I'm happy, I bet $10. The pre-flop re-raiser bets $25. In a 1-2 game.
I layed it down. My stack was fairly low (and two hands later I fucking annihilated the same guy so i ddn't feel too bad about it) but I'm still wondering if I shouldn't have called or re-raised. I just felt like it was too expensive and that he might have been sitting on A-K while I'm on the draw.
How would you play that?

Merriam-Webster's New Collegiate dictionary added the word "ginormous" yesterday. This from the same dictionary that added "irregardless" a few years back. I'm torn about this whole thing, as I'm a stodgy spelling, grammar and overall language nerd, but I recognize the need for languages to evolve and for dictionaries to document as well as dictate language usage. I'm with Holliday - ginormous, while an idiotic contraction of two words that I appears to get the most usage from language-impaired-trust-fund-Upper-East-Side (or Murray Hill) twenty-something-women, does convey a specific meaning by taking two words that mean the same thing and turning them into one word, irregardless adds a completely redundant prefix to a word that changes nothing about the meaning.
