Been there a fair few times. It's a great place on a nice day, it has a howler of a winter though since it's so exposed! Went there kite surfing one October and was a tad bit terrified of being the first kite surfer to cross the Irish sea without touching the water once.

You're absolutely right. Drinking isn't the answer. It numbs and makes everything go away for a night, but they are still there the next day. I realized that. It's become an awful habit for me to talk to the boy only when I'm intoxicated because it makes things easier. It's not helping my fear of opening up at all because it's still there in sobriety. So I told him last night that I had decided what I wanted out of this, but I didn't want to talk to him about it last night because I had been drinking and I wanted to be sober.
