There are many things that you would think are obviously more annoying than your family:

The Taxman.
Dental bills.
Global warming.
Crappy bank managers who refuse to play ball, despite the fact you've never even fecking used your overdraft facility.
Fred Goodwin.
Ex-partners who continually shit on you from a great height, and yet insist that "remaining friends" is number one on their list of priorities.
