Things are going well here now. I'm in the village where I grew up. It's nice to be back in this village. The city (Halifax) has changed so much over the last five years, but this place hasn't changed at all. Halifax is someone else's city, but this place still belongs to me. That's good.

I've also had a nice time visiting some other cities in Canada. I went to Charlottetown and Quebec City for the first time and enjoyed both a lot. My friends there have had some similar experiences to me (teaching and traveling), and so what I have seen reminds me that I will do okay if I ever head back to Canada myself. I'd probably be leading a life quite like they are now. I probably will NOT come back here... but it wouldn't be too bad if I did. That's what I've seen.

This afternoon I got together with an old friend of mine from HIGH SCHOOL. He's the one friend I have who has not had similar experiences to me. So that makes him very special, I think.

We ate sandwiches.

Anyhow, I'm here in the village for a few more days and then I will fly west to Winnipeg. Then I will go to Cuba for family time. Whew... such a busy schedule!! No rest for me. No sir.
