I have to be at my clinical in roughly 4 hours and have yet to go to sleep. I'm in the NICU, which is the neonatal intensive care unit. As a student nurse I don't get too much contact time with patient's due to the critical nature they are in and because premies can only really be handled by the nurses. I like where I am located for this and I like the nurses that are there to teach me since they are great people! It's going to be a long 12 hour day since I'll only have about 2 hours of sleep, but it will be rewarding by the end of the day. Yes, this is pretty much the only thing in my life until summer hits since I am in the last 3-4 weeks of this semester and I need to ensure that i pass everything so don't be surprised if you don't read too much of anything else until then lol
