I tried attaching this picture to the primered one, but it wouldn't work.

So this was my original comment on this:  I'm a little late with my progress on this project, but I still have time.  I have completed most of the base colour, but I'm still trying to figure out the colour of the gem and the flowers.  I don't know what I want them to be.  the rest of it is armour or detailing that I am leaving to the end.  There is no real detail on the base.  I just watered down the paint so it would flow into the cracks and not stay much on the surfaces.  I plan on dry brushing this a lighter grey.

I was disinfecting a shipment of boxes to my house this weekend and bringing the contents inside.  Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, one of my wife’s gifts was in one of the boxes.  I am so sad that I ruined my wife’s surprise for me.  It’s a very nice steel gift though and I can’t wait to see what else she got me.  Only 2 more months to wait
