I don't understand why people always have to get the last word in. Does it make them feel better about themselves because they want to be dominant? Does it stem from low self esteem and they think that if they get the last word in that it makes them look that much better? I don't know. So, I'm hanging with a few friends tonight and one of them just won't drop subjects. All night it's been like all she wants to do is debate and debate and debate to the point when everyone else in the room is so ready to drop it because it's over something trivial and inconsequential. Some of the things were about conversations she wasn't even involved in. I don't know but it's shit like that that annoys the hell outta me and other people are looking at me and rolling their eyes while she keeps on going. I understand wanting to debate issues and whatnot, but when people are just trying to chill and have a good time, and you keep chewing on the subject like a pitbull with lockjaw after everyone else has pretty much either agreed on or decided to let it drop cause it's a difference of opinions.........
And me in my usual blunt and oblivious style at one point in the night mention "Why do you like to argue so much" .......
Wow, was that the wrong thing to mention. Out comes dirty laundry and all sorts of bullshit to get away from the point of my question and put the attention elsewhere. Oh well...I guess it goes to show you that some people are a lot less secure with themselves than others. I only hope I don't sound like that.
On that note I think it's time for a bit of introspective and medative self reflection.

That annoys me, but I also find myself doing it especially when I am drunk.

people like that are extra annoying and yet they always seem to find their way into my life as well.
