Its amazing how time passes us by.
I have been feeling discontented for the last few months.
I think I realized what it is.
I haven't actually done a full piece of art in over 3 years.
It boggles my mind that it has been that long. I used to not be able to go a week without finishing a new piece.
I blame World of Warcraft for this problem.
It's a lame excuse but I seriously think that that is one of the issues. That and several childhood/teen year traumas I'm finishing up dealing with.
You try being prepped and raised to be a minister by your parents and see how well adjusted you end up in society. But I digress......
So tonight I got home from 80's night at Luna after running into Rabbit, (the lovely lady I met when hanging out with Annisa at the Dirty Show) and immediately picked up the pencil, the pen, and the paints. I am now waiting for a set of washes to dry. I feel amazingly fullfilled. It may not be the best piece of work I have plastered on paper but just to get the juices flowing feels incredible. I am thrilled. This is a very good thing. It feels like I have just gotten a limb back that was amputated and I didn't realize it.
I think I have now seen a path I have to continue on again.
Talk to you soon all you lovely people.
