Well, it's 6:23 AM and here I am still awake with a rather nasty 'eye-migraine;' yeah, the same one mentioned in the laaaast post. Ah well, spent the night/evening/morning period watching old school King Kong - I really miss the old cheesy movie magic that was so... magical? Like exaggerated pieces of tinfoil floating to the ground like paper that in fact 'crushed' people like big pieces of sheet metal. Amazing! Honestly, it's better than half the CG crap people mesh into new-era movies to make it seem more 'exciting and modern, and... fake.'
That's right Hollywood, I prefer exaggerated tinfoil to your computer gen. prowess :'(
Pictures so heavily related, it's relative: King Kong rippin' shit up old-style!
Really, to sum it all up, look how happy King Kong was just to be alive in the 1930's version...
And lastly, we have 2000's King Kong, looking mighty pissed after being dragged off his island of wicked awesome and forced to sit through his 'first' screening of the movie by Hollywoods finest - Yeah, his expression pretty much sums up the CG of todays movies. Rock on, King Kong.
