PERKS OF BEING A NERD:
Today started out as a pretty typical day for me, grabbed some coffee before class and thought about life as i blasted some music in my car. . . little did I know what an exciting day this would turn out to be. . . . here's a disclaimer, if nerdiness pisses you off, makes you nauseous, or you simply don't want to know about the wonders of life i suggest you stop reading now. . . if not, proceed. . . . . So three major events contributed to my extremely interesting day. . . . .
1) at about 12:00 in my second math class of the day I learned that the universe can not exist. . . . its a little complicated, using sets and russel's paradox. . . but the gist of it is that there cannot be one thing which contains all other things because then it would have to contain itself, which it cannot. . . get it?! HAHAHA, I reveled in this knowledge for the better part of the afternoon. . . .
2) during my break i spent about 3 hours doing two math problems which were fucking ridiculous! however, the sheer joy from completing this one problem which took me an hour and a half to work out can not be explained, im pretty confident that it is one of the hardest problems i've ever done, which is exciting, and it made me feel like im really starting to understand all of this shit and think abstractly and come up with solutions to problems without being guided, which is really exciting
3) Let me preface this image by just saying that this machine which i used in physics lab is pretty fucking cool, it basically knocks electrons off mercury atoms in a semi-vacuum making a dense cloud of them which you can see, it was awesome. . . .sorry i couldnt get a could pic of it in action (I tried) . .
anyway, that was all pretty exciting for me, but i am easily pleased, especially when it comes to nerdy things like this. . . . . what are you gonna do. . . . . fuck its 1:30 already. . . . i am going to die tomorrow. . . . .

yea dude your right im a mechanical engineering major. btw i totally see what your saying about the learning experience. the way this guy is i get more out of just reading out the book than going to his class.
