I met up with someone from high school last night. We both had skipped the five year reunion because well...fuck all that noise. it was strange, neither of us enjoyed or had a good time in high school, we wernt the popular people or anything like that, but as we talked re realized we were both doing much better than most of the people from high school we did remember. It was a weird vindication, that bullshit youre told by your parents that high school doesnt matter, ugly ducklings, and how life DOES improve if you put your nose to the grind stone, well...it does. just thought id share.

I completely agree, A lot of times I find myself trying to show up the people from my high school even though I've never talked to or seen them in years, but there are very many people that are up on top that have gone through the same ordeal or felt the same way. I'm just glad you can see how much better you've done as opposed to those from your school =)
