Proud to be a father 3 times over. Two are growing up and turning out to be great little guys. Each day they make my life even more special as they show me some new discovery or teach me some new way to look at life. Simple things and simple wonders. Rejoice in the little things. They are more interested in the packaging then what came in the package. Material stuff just does not matter to them. They are more into spending time with me then my spending money on them. An innocence that is so refreshing. Hand made cards instead of Hallmark made. They are keepers. We remember a sibling who did not make it very long after birth. He is still a part of our family and we visit his grave to keep his memory alive. I hug the boys daily and give thanks for them often each day. I am not a perfect dad and have made many mistakes along the way. I am a more loving dad than my dad as I can tell my sons that I love them out loud and to their faces. I think I have shown my dad how to be a more loving dad as today when I called my dad to wish him a happy father's day he stunned me by saying I love you before hanging up the phone. My wife wondered why I was crying after talking with my dad and when I told her what he said she was as shocked as I. Today has to be the greatest Father's Day I have celebrated so far.
