At last, things are back to normal. I like it when things are quiet or at least when something exciting or different happens it's something I have chosen to happen....or at least something that isn't a complete suck.
It's back to just me and my dogs hanging out and playing and the odd jobs and house work I do. Nice and peaceful.
Got to see GI Joe a couple days ago. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting and it was corny as hell, but it can't be GI Joe with out being corny as all hell.
Still trying to get my puppy from chewing everything up, he is getting better though. Also he isn't crying every night when I put him in his crate. I hate putting him in it but till I can keep him from chewing everything he has to go in it. My other dog Erin makes me happy everyday with as far as she has come since we first got her. She was a rescue dog. Used to be she would freak when you went to pet her and picking her up was out of the question. She also used to try and bolt for the door when ever we opened it. Now she does get out from time to time but she comes right back. The last issue we had with her she is getting over at last. When I used to try and brush her she would freak. It was the worst of her freak outs each time. But she is now glad to let you hold her and brush her.
Edit: Anyone know of a good alternative pain killer. I'd use Advil or something like it but it's not so nice to my liver.

Shite medical care and substandard public schools mostly.

Yep. I couldn't stand living there either. Although the area where I grew up (San Luis) has a damn good school system, the cost of living there is even higher than Maui.
