In Norway, gay couples have the right to marry - our laws were changed to accomodate for this a year ago or so. They may also legally adopt, and/or have the same right to assistance by artificial insemination as anyone else. Blah blah, of course there's been debate. There's been incredibly narrow-minded people speaking up about all of these things. (Stupidity tend to be loudest, very depressing.)

This is just BACKGROUND to explain that I think I have a crush on this NY senator at the moment...
