Blogs... I am going to make a conscious effort to actually write them far more consistently. I hear that writing a journal is a fantastic way to keep your mind sharp. I guess this can be a happy medium for me.
I'm on a total Journey binge as of this week! Specifically the tunes "Faithfully" and "Seperate ways". I've also subsequently discovered that you can find karaoke for almost any song on youtube
I'm in a really good place right now... I'm training a lot more because my semester is tons easier than my last, and that has made such a difference in my attitude. It is amazing to rediscover how you used to feel, especially when you look back at the slump you climbed out of... it's quite motivating.
I had a two day training seminar with my old coach that ended today and it was a great time. It was awesome to see/train with him again. It just felt normal despite the fact that he had moved to Ontario months ago.
On a different note, this whole spare time thing is really great! I only have classes from Monday-Thursday, and having Friday off to get anything I need done is fantastic. I see soooo many doors opening up for me this semester that I basically had to seal shut during last semester. I am already reconnecting with my friends, doing better at my job, and I can realistically see myself being able to invest in a relationship, which I didn't feel capable of doing last semester.
Enough with the sappy stuff... Maybe this Journey binge just put my into a romantic mood. .....OR maybe being in a romantic mood brought on the Journey binge?!?! A true case of chicken or the egg if I ever did see one.
I'll leave you with these, hope you enjoy!
And now sing it yourself!
Now wasn't that fun?

Hehe, that's what you get for keeping three different journals, I guess. To sum up chapter 1-6 I guess it would be something down the lines of: "Moved to Oslo, didn't like it, moved to Cork in Ireland, had sixty days of rain, found out some nasty things about my friends, stopped liking my job, started hating this country, applied for a spot in the army and - surprisingly - got it."
I have been on the urge to move, but now I feel I am getting satisfied. All I want now is, as it is so nicely put, a place to rest my head.
