Has anyone ever tried dandelion wine? Yesterday I had a smalll bottle of dandelion wine and it was exceedingly scrumptious. As I noted in my previous entry, I have started drinking alcohol again after seven years of abstinence and I am experimenting a bit. I recently discovered that the Lyme Bay Winery produces all kinds of weird and wonderful wines such as dandelion wine, birch wine, nettle wine, cowslip wine, damson wine etc.

Dandelion pizza is a trick to get children to get their greens. When you make a pizza you send them out to pick the leaves and let them top the pizza, and they will often happily consume it because they "made" it. Mostly it just tastes like pizza, not sweet, but not bitter either.

If toyed with the idea of making dandelion wine but have yet to do so. I've never had the opportunity to tried it either.
