It looks like I could renting one of my spare rooms to a lodger in a few months. A former work acquaintance messaged me the other day to ask if she could rent a room for a few months.
Recently, I had a nice chat with an orc. I stopped by a Live Action Role Play (LARP) fair to say hello to a friend from years back who was running a stall. He wasn't the orc, I should add. I just happened to meet the orc while I was there. I met a dwarf, too! .

I'm enjoying a drink from my black wine glasses. I was given a set for Christmas and they've had plenty of use since (dry January didn't make it to my house).
My New Year's resolutions
1. Eat more chocolate
2. Spend more time watching the Horror Channel
3. Fart on public transport as often as possible

Progress so far on the first two has been good but I have made very little progress with my third resolution because I haven't been on public transport yet (I mostly just just walk).

Oh I love this movie, very unusual. I love scanary and the way now it filmed (not so much actors and money)
Today is an anniversary of sorts for me. It's been two years since I became a home owner! It took me seven years to save up enough to be able to buy a house but it was worth it.
This evening I put on my Dracula mask and cape and put lots of chocolate bars on a bowl but very few 'trick or treaters' came around. One of them (a little girl) said to me, "I'm a vampire too!" Aw! How sweet!!!
