I'm taking this year off Burning Man. After four in a row going, I've been wondering about the other events that take place that same weekend. That, and with LAFC being disbanded, my troupe's gone to the wind regardless.

I never get what I want... Boohoo. I was talking to a friend last night and she was jabbering on about girls hanging all over me and that I could have sex anytime I wanted. I told it didn't count if I can never get the ones I really want. hah hah.

Nope, it's an email saying how much missy and sg miss me and if I come back I can pay only $29 for a year. Not bad I guess.

Well holy crap! I'll be seeing you tomorrow, and you can bet I'll be mentioning this. Welcome back! I'm really digging the number of the old crew coming out of the woodwork lately.

Damn... you gotta be into this chick - you haven't been around as much as I haven't been around... or something like that... By the time I see you again, I'll have lit up for the first time I'm getting really good with my practice poi and I totally rock with flags. I just made myself a new set.

Currently I'm in full-time job hunt mode. Got a good chance to work for the City of Chicago since a good burner friend of mine is waaaaay high up in the political ranks. It never ceases to amaze me - the serendipity of burning man. Thanks again... okay, okay... I'll stop thanking you, but seriously dude, you were a significant catalyst in my life. And I would imagine the same would go for me in yours.... and I think it all worked out for the best for you, as it's all turned out. You seem to be coming around. Now, the question is... are you gonna play with me out on the playa this year? wheeeeeeee! hehehehe! I'm most likely getting a scholarship ticket due to all the work I do for the BMChicago community. I made out with Maid Marian (head of BORG communications) recently when she was in town... hehehehe! Oh man, I love my life. xoxo

HAHAHA! I love the name Garnish! That's hilarious! BTW, you already stated what you learned... that you needed to be out of that relationship. You were miserable and you tortured yourself over it. THERE! That's something else you learned - NEVER torture yourself trying to stay in a relationship because it was good at one time and in reality, it isn't anymore. Don't settle for that. I learned that by leaving *the past* and now we've come full circle - we're appreciating each other again. It's like that stupid old phrase, "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you... blah blah blah." You know the one. I'm happy to have provided you an assist outta that one. I'm happy you're happy.
