i just love snow. today i spent the whole day cross-country skiing, my dogs and i are completely wiped out. my oldest dog turned twelve today. it's sad that she's so slow now, i wish they could live as long as us. the puppy had a blast though she can no longer be called a puppy, she ways seventy-five pounds. even she's asleep right now, aawhhh, that's so cute. christmas is barreling towards us at an almost scarry clip and i am completly unprepared, then again are we ever? just finished chuck palahniuks new book diary... really good. his usual style. funny thing is i can never quite get edward nortan's voice out of my head when i read one of c.h.'s novels. wierd. good night all.

Let's see...where I hang out in Dallas...my favorite bar is XPO Lounge, but I pretty much like any bar on or around Exposition (ie, New Amsterdam, Meridian Room). I occasionally hang out on Lower Greenville--The Cavern or the Dubliner the most. Some people like Muddy Waters, but I don't like it too much. I very rarely hang out at July Alley in Deep Ellum, but I've decided I don't really like that area of town much, unless I'm down there to see a band. And then I like the Barley House a lot.
Can the dogs walk in the snow? They don't sink down? I have only been in the snow once. Never seen it snow though
