Once again I am struck with lame ass friends. I am starting to think that it is me... Two bands that I really want to see are playing in town tomorrow night (I know it is a Thursday and that accounts for some of it but...) I can not get anyone to go with me. I don't want to be that 30 something guy at the bat by himself looking all creepy, but I don't want to miss this show. I am torn as to what to do. Oh well, chances are I will spend yet another night sitting at home doing absolutely fucking nothing...

I agree, you should go even if it is by yourself. If you want to see the band, then it doesn't matter what others think.
Now , let me ask you this, does your wife just not have anything in common with you? That she wouldn't go?
