I get to spend all of next week in a hotel. If it weren't for the fact that I still have to go work and that my in laws will be in town, it would almost be like a vacation...

looks like my wife and I are going to have a roommate for the summer. He is a friend of out landlords, and he will be paying us to stay... So that is cool. I am not sure where he is from, I am thinking he French, but I am not sure. Other than that, not much new here.

First day back to work sucked! I get back to find out that i know have a TON more responsibility. I have 4 new major things I am in charge of at work. It wouldn't be a big deal had my boss told me about this, rather than me finding out from others and then having him confirm it. That pretty well pissed me off....

I think you're doing pretty well too. There are very few people who really like their jobs so it seems quite, I don't know, insignificant if everything else is good and you're not letting your dislike for your job interfere with the good stuff, then I would say count your blessings ya know?
It'd be much nicer though, if you liked your job since it does take up a considerable amount of your time.

Trying to plan an actual vacation for next year. I have so many ideas that it is difficult to narrow it down. I am open to suggestions, of course if you have suggestions, give me reasons to please. I am trying to find a not to touristy place, or at least a place where could do non touristy thing...
