Well, that was written on the back of this postcard (beside the more private message my mother send me). The story behind those postcards is that my grandpa was travelling a lot while he was working in the US and every time he brought some postcards with him which he collected. I guess he was writing postcards to my grandma as well but some of them he kept without writing anything on it. Now my mother found them and she's sending every now and then one of these old postcards with some Californian background. Kind of interesting how LA changed in a short time (remember the village where my father lives didn't change much in the last 1200 years - yes, Europe is old). Anyway, I like these old postcards and will post some of them from time to time in my journal
