I was so pissed off for the last couple weeks. I applied for a job that I really wanted and went through a 2 month interview process only to be denied at the last minute. The job went to someone I know who has a lot less experience (actually none) and the lady hiring told my references that I had the strongest interview of anyone who applied. So where did it go wrong? I called to ask and I was lied to. ARGGGGGGGG! very disheartening. This week I had good news that really helped my anger at this situation. I have an interview next week for a similar position thats actually closer to home and pays more. If I get this job I will know it all happened for a reason. Eat shit Fairfax County government.
Other then that things are chill. Its the season for BBQ's, redsox, cinco de Mayo, camping, and the beach. The wife and I are going to rites of spring next week. It's a week long Pagan festival and my favorite event of the year. It's like living in a different society for a week without politics, traffic, crime, or pop culture pressure.
