Went to an anti - war protest in D.C on saturday. tens of thousands of people showed up and the media actually covered it for once! There are a lot of people really fed up with this war. ITS TIME TO END THE OCCUPATION AND BRING OUR TROOPS HOME. The timing of this rally was not an accident. Bush is calling for more troops while the rest of the country wants this embarrasment of a war to be over. Were the mid term elections not a clear message from the people? Our leaders aren't listening so we need to speak LOUDER! Who we really need listening right now is congress. Congress has the power to stop the surge. Congress can cut funding, freeze the budget, and stop the war machine in its tracks. Its time for change!
