Cops care more about arresting people for using drugs than solving murders, or protecting victims from future violent crimes. My husband beat me and raped me and he is still a free man.
Someone tried to hit me with their truck on my street yesterday, I called the local police and they said they weren't going to do anything about it. I called two different police stations and told them that I am legally allowed to defend myself and END someone else's life if they are a threat to my safety.
For that matter, this is a "stand your ground state" and I can shoot somebody in the face for attempted vehicular manslaughter. That's what it is when you pieces of shit are trying to run me over, it's attempted vehicular manslaughter.
I've been abused my whole life and I don't deserve to keep getting treated like this. I don't have a car and people are trying to murder me just over simply walking and getting groceries.
