This is a pangolin!
They are an ant-eating mammal covered in scale armor which it uses to defend itself against predators. Their scales are similar to reptile scales and made out of keratin (the same stuff our finger nails are made out of).
They are over hunted and trafficked for their scales and meat, the meat is a delicacy and the scales are used for traditional Chinese medicine.
There are a few species of pengolins, ground dwelling and tree dwelling ones who have prehensile tails for climbing.
Their tongue can be as long as their body, they walk/run on 2 feet like a T-rex, and they are weirdly cute as hell.
