Well, I took a walk in the park and sketched a little before the rain came, then I walked round some more and took pictures. Then I went to an "odd art" convention and saw some Oddities (had to resist buying the plastic animal skeletons covered in viscera) and bought some fun prints. Now I'm home. I'm pretty satisfied with today :)
I mean like drawing, painting, photoshopping, anything. Instead I'm just supposed to sit and watch mindless entertainment. It feels weird that I have to force myself to "relax" but I think it will be a nice rest after last month's fairly busy schedule.
Downside is I'm seeing some real cool artwork on IG and I want to try to replicate it my own way!

Cara, I feel like it might be a mental exhaustion thing. Hoping if I leave my brain alone for a bit of time I may spring back to life. Usually if I'm not drawing, I'm thinking of how I should be drawing, dedicating my vacations from my job to "really buckling down and getting some work done" instead of taking a trip somewhere. Blah.
