Lazy Saturday and I'm loving it. It's the first Saturday in over a month where I had nothing that absolutely had to be done and nowhere I had to be. So I took advantage of being lazy (and lazy liked it!) I watched Ray, worked on a couple art projects and took a cat nap on the couch. Helps that it was cloudy and rainy out.
I finally scored tickets to the NIN show at The Joint on 4/30. Bought my plane tickets to Vegas yesterday. Now I just need to find a hotel. Typically I go to Vegas twice a year, but I have a feeling this year it may be 4 or 5 times. I'm not sure if that's good or bad...
Last night was an odd night out. I went to a newer club in "The OC" and I should've known better. I've never seen so much silicon in one place. It turns out it's currently one of the "places to be seen" which typically means it's not for me. To top it off, the DJ was horrible. It appeared he had several megamixes on disc, the only time he had to actually mix was to go from one megamix to the next. Trainwreck can't even begin to describe his mixing skills. It was bad enough that my friend thought maybe I should get back in the business and show this guy how it's done. Pretty funny. Anyway, despite the poor mixing and too many "beautiful people", we made the best of it and had a great night just people watching.
Another lazy day tomorrow. I can't wait!!!

but yeah in alaska i'm sure hockey was much bigger. i was very happy to see UAF get to the super 6 of the CCHA and then win their first round game. then Michigan took them out but they beat michigan state in the third place game, that was just great.
