I started to type up a long journal about the year in retrospect, but I think it is easiest just to say it was a huge year of change for me. I was way past due for change in my life so of course I seemed to go overboard in 2006.

I moved halfway across the country for my job leaving all my friends behind in California. Fell hard for someone, had my heart broken and then fell head over heels for him when he returned. Lost 15 lbs without even really thinking about it and now have to figure out how to lose the next 15. I found financial security that I thought would forever be elusive and am now considering buying a house. My battle with what was trying to become cervical cancer ended, I was victorious. More than anything I end the year happy and content with my life as it currently stands.

2006 wasn't the best of years, it certainly had many ups and downs, but it wasn't the worst of years either. A lot of good came out of this year and that is what I will choose to remember.
