Here we are, checking in again. I have on my Task List (that eight-page Outlook print-out that tells me what I'm doing with my life for the foreseeable future) that our SG account expires 4/19, which is today. Well, I got to sign on, so that's a good thing.

Hi! We're still alive! Still loving, learning, working and living life as it comes. (<-- feelin' guilty for neglecting this blog for so long.) What can I say? We're both obsessed with MySpace, and when we're not connecting with our friends there, we're looking for new friends on SwingLifestyle.com. *shrug* We'll see how we feel about renewing our SG membership in April...

Celtic band may be in the area in April. I'll let you know.

I love you.
Just so I don't just use this space for bitching, I gotta take a minute to let the world know that life is good!
We've moved into a new place with a wonderful roommate and infinity less hassle. My newest second job is picking up, and it looks like I may soon comfortably abandon my long-term part time job that I've been complaining about for...

Yay! I had 70+ for my vaca last week and it made all the maddening traffic and driving no problem! Enjoy the weather!
phrogg:
Hey how are you? The weather has been really nice, but it is so erratic... after the ice storm of Dec. '05 I will never trust SC weather again!
Today I discovered www.pandora.com. It's streaming radio in which you create your own stations based on your musical preferences. Pretty awesome.
angeluca:
Someone at work pointed out Pandora to me too. Just be sure that you keep each playlist or album or whatever they call it, specific to one artist. If you put multiple artists into it, Pandora has the tendency to latch onto whatever the last artist was that you added to the album. I'm just now figuring that out. And you can only skip so many songs an hour.
salome:
Last.fm is another like that. I'll have to check out pandora.
Have I told you that I love you and miss you already? Why can't I either a) have all my friends in one place or b) be able to teleport??

... up past my bedtime, procrastinating on here while I should be completing website work I promised an impatient client would be done this morning. Not the way I like to operate, and I'm disappointed in myself, especially since I saw the potential backslide into hedonism coming...

I'd say over the long haul, my life has been pretty ordinary. I guess most people would say that. But I have had some interesting experiences, and will occasionally journalize about them. Ask me anything!
BTW, I noticed you're a journalist. I saw "Good Night and Good Luck" (Edward R. Murrow) a few nights ago. Now he was a hell of a man.

You gotta watch this. I'm late for work because I couldn't tear myself away, and I gotta share. Stephen Colbert does a jaw-dropping roast of the president at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, broadcast live on C-SPAN. You gotta see it to believe.

Oh geez. No, we would be getting a rifle for target practice and maybe to get rabbit. Nothing larger than that. I've always wanted to learn how to use a gun and do target practice with it. Maybe hunting, but I'm not even sure on that.
As far as the HTML, I'm definitely not wanting to make a career change into doing it. Right now, the properties my company owns has crappy at best websites and I wanted to see if I could do it and how long it would take me. I would at most just work on those sites, make my own, and do myspace stuff with it. I really don't want to do this as a full time job.
I really appreciate the advice and the offer for help though. Thank you!
