yeah, so I feel swamped right now.
I have three tracks to record. Left of Alpha to finish, and a new 5 minute set to memorise.
I've booked a flight out to Van for the 2nd of April. so I'm gonna go ride, see Lamb of God, chill with my homeboys, get trashed, and skate some sick parks. Plus I need to steal some kisses off a hot Canadian girl as I was dating the last time i was out there. You could say that's sad, but men will understand the importance of my mission. maybe ill make a little flag and take a photo while she's asleep.
Hopefully I can ride and skate without any new breaks too. My wrist is still weak and clicks like a mother fucker. When skating recently I've been trying to condition myself to fall on my side, shoulders, or face rather then on my hands. Sounds kinda stupid, but my theory is my skull can withstand impacts better then my wrist right now.
Fuck it, I'm ridding in a cast if i have to. That first air will be worth it. I'm probably going to yell my lungs out after that first weightless moment. Adrenaline + elation + fear is the best drug I've ever experienced.
its gonna be interesting to see if my buddies are better then me at snowboarding now. I'm in training, dry slope tomorrow night for 10pm. I refuse to not be rad!!
Alex and I are planning to get bro tatts too so some new ink at the end of the holiday will give me something to obsess over on the flight back.
Ive requested an open spot in a Vancouver comedy club, which at the very least could be a fucking amusing night for me! I've written a whole new, less English, set that hopefully they'll get.
Plus, if i secure work now for when i come back, which I'm in talks about, I'm going to go helliboarding. I've only been in a helicopter once before, but i loved it. I think you get a video of your decent filmed from the helicopter too. so that'll be something to scare my mum with. Could be my most epic bail on camera!
