yeah, so i'm dreaming about my comedy set now. In Italian.
I'm not sure what that means, other then my Sopranos fetish still hasn't quite dissipated.
Gig tonight, hoping for a good one, i need a lift before the Design museum massacre Friday and my death at spooky. My theory is Ortus is some kind of cult leader who wants to be famous for leading a bunch of internet nerds to freeze to death. Its a good plan. I'm proud of him.
In other news my beat making buddy came over with a couple of remix's he'd done for me and they sound great. I like what he's done so much next week i'm going to rework them into new songs with fresh lyrics. Should be cool as together we have enough decent music for a second EP.
when i have the artwork sorted for the first EP i can send it to some of the labels i think may get it (Big Dadda, Low Life, YnR) but i think. more realistically I'll put them out as two small independent releases in 09. roll on my next contract to pay for the vinyl pressing. It's exciting though as Paul's beats have brought some new sounds to the table. We have some tracks more like classical music then rap. why the fuck not?
I still have a gig offer I can use, if i can get a bassist and turntables for performance that should make things fun. It's been too long.
Here's a depressing song i made using live guitar, keys, and drums. the lyrics are freestyled. The video compression has murdered the quality. enjoy!
