So, I spent the last 24 hours in hospital hooked up to 6 different drips. :(
On thursday night I was getting a DVD out of the draw....my 8month old cat Sheldon follows me everywhere around the house, I shut the draw not realising his tail was too close and shut his tail in the draw. What happened straight after that is a bit of a blur but i kinda came to and I was screaming and he was screeching and he had bitten my leg in defence. I cleaned it up with an antibacterial wash and then put detol on it and bandaids. That night i went through 4 different bandaids on both wounds as it was bleeding like crazy.
Within 24 hours, my leg had swollen to the point where I couldn't walk, its was red, hot and super painful. My guy Ive been seeing took me to the emergency where I was seen to, given antibiotics and sent home. 48 hours later it had gotten worse not better, so I went around to my local doctor, who told me i needed surgery asap, and sent me back to emergency where I was seen by a different doctor. After 24 hours in total agony, not sleeping at all and dealing with needles and whatnot, I luckily haven't had surgery, just a whole bucketload of antibiotics put through my veins and I'm now sitting at home on the couch writing this.
I am SO sad, sick and sore. :(
The worst part is that I have been training and trying so hard to clear my skin, to lose weight and to be ready and happy with the way I look before the SG Blackheart Burlesque tour in Aus and I feel like over the last few days, my skin has broken out like crazy from stress and Ive gained the weight I had lost by not working out and just laying flat on a bed constantly.
I have 3 weeks, from today until I meet all the girls to start the tour. Fingers crossed my leg heals quickly enough to lose that weight again and that my skin clears with these new antibiotics I've been given that specifically clears skin.
If you have read all my crap so far and are up to this point, I honestly want to take a second to thank you for caring about the dramas in my life, not just the good things and being a nude model.
